Privacy notice

This notice covers the personal data collected through this website (fairweather-accounting.ullbek.site) only. The data we hold as part of an accountancy engagement is set out in our engagement letter, which is sent to every new client before work starts.

Who we are

What we collect on this site

• Contact form — your name, email, phone (if you give it), and your message. Stored in our inbox and practice management system, used to reply to you.
• Server logs — the web host records basic request data (IP, page, time) for security and diagnostics. We don’t set tracking cookies or run analytics on this site.

What we don’t do

• No marketing cookies, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no third-party tracking.
• No mailing list — we don’t add anyone to a newsletter without a separate opt-in.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as we’re in correspondence with you, then archived or deleted. The Accounts and Tax Regulations require us to keep client records for six years after the end of the last period we worked on, which overrides any deletion request for the underlying engagement data.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to ask what we hold, to correct it, to delete it (subject to the retention rules above), to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Changes to this notice

If we change anything material on this page, we’ll update the date below. The full client-side privacy notice lives in our engagement letter and is the binding document once you sign with us.
